As you can tell we have both been in full summer mode and have not been keeping up with our posts.  We've decided to fully immerse ourselves in the last days of summer, so we won't be posting for a bit. But check back in September, as once we get the kids off to school we will be back at it.

I'm really trying to live in the moment. Building off of yesterday's post (or was it the day before?) one of my to do's for this summer was to be more present. It's hard. I'm a planner always thinking about what's next. I've been really trying to just think about today and when my mind wanders to tomorrow I try to bring myself back. Because it's so true, it's all about the little things and these moments are so precious.  What about you? 

Time flies

Did you see this? I don't know if you follow ARMOMMY a great blog and one of my go to's.  At the beginning of the summer she posted this and I thought it was great.  I always have lists and to do's in my mind for summer - adventures to go on with the kids, new things to try, books to read and so on.  Haven't gotten around to putting pen to paper but if I do, although it's looking like it won't be this summer, I think I'll use this. How is it August already?
